Health Benefits- Blue pea flower, in itself, serves a lot of health benefits. It is found to be useful in improving concentration, memory and overall brain health. It has anti-inflammatory in nature and can reduce swelling, heal wounds and reduce pain. It is also beneficial in fighting cancer and inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. It lowers blood pressure, regulates sugar and even improves skin, hair and digestion.
Why Us- Apricot tea is usually mixed with black tea with artificial flavour or apricot pieces. But our apricot tea is 100% decaffeinated and does not contain any tea leaves. Our Blue Apricot Fruit Tea is made up of apricot chunks, dried flowers, herbs and spices. We’ve added butterfly blue pea flowers (Clitoriaternatea) to the tea to bring an extra dash of uniqueness in flavour, colour andhealth. This teais excellent for daily drinking, afternoon parties and even for a relaxing- alone or with your friends and families.
Tip- In summer, people like the tea as iced tea, garnishing it with mint, lemon. One may even add green tea to it. It can also be sweetened with honey or sugar.
You can sweeten it with honey or coconut sugar. These flowers are also used for colouring food. You can try making blue noodles, rice, samosa and even momos. But avoid adding anything acidic to it, else it will change its colour to purple.
