Who We Are
In India, we are habitual of beginning our day with the daily ritual of ‘ek cup chai’ (a cup of tea). Even though tea was brought to India by the English from China ages back, it has now become a way of life for people, not only in India but the world over.
Today, India is not only one of the biggest producers of fine tea, but also one of the biggest consumers in the world. The Tea industry ranges from growing different varieties of tea, plucking the tender tea leaves, processing, storing, and finally buying and selling the Tea.
We have always been avid tea drinkers and often shared our own home blended tea recipes, with friends and family. We were always appreciated for our authentic flavors and unique tea blends!
This inspired us to start something very authentic, something healthy, and something that we were passionate about. We finally found our calling during the ‘lockdown’ in the year 2020. So, bringing forth an idea of a ‘cuppa tea’ was a good choice, as both of us could relate to it at the mental and emotional level.
We worked on our plan for about a year, tried new blends, tried to master them, interacted with different manufacturers, and learned about different nuances of tea manufacturing and its storage.
We knew from the beginning that we had to break the glass ceiling as we were entering a bastion already reined by cynosures of tea estates, People who were in the tea business for generations. For them, diversifying was just a ‘new normal’, but for us, every day was a new challenge as we did not have the luxury of the basic background. But we always lived and worked with our vision of providing an authentic flavor of teas and homemade healthy snacks.
Our Vision
At LI’LLGREENZ, we source our tea from the pristine green hills of Siliguri in Assam, which is 100% organic. Emphasizing the quality of the tea, we choose to go for the First Flush, which is milder on the tongue and refreshing to the senses.
We are procuring the majority of our other raw materials like herbs and flowers from the pristine Himalayas, to maintain the aromatic uniqueness of our various Tea blends.
We, at Li’ll Greenz blend a vast variety of herbs, spices, flowers, and fruits ourselves, which gives a unique flavor to our Teas.
We blend our teas at home on a weekly and ‘as and when-required’ basis to maintain the freshness and flavors intact.
We store our products, both raw material and shipments in a clean and hygienic setup.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the best quality organic tea with healthy and tasty bites of our homemade snacks to our valuable customers.
We also aim at maintaining a clean and green environment. Keeping this in view, we are engaged in sustainable packing. Our tea comes in beautiful re-usable tin boxes, which can even be recycled at a later stage.
Our shipment packages also come in corrugated brown boxes, which are biodegradable and do not hurt our green Mother Earth.
Our teabags are made up of corn starch which is free from plastic. We have chosen eco-friendly and bio-degradable tea bags. As a result, they do not harm the environment thus, minimizing the carbon footprint.
SAFETY MEASURES
At LI’LLGREENZ, we believe in providing clean and hygienic products to our esteemed customers.
To maintain the freshness, flavor, and taste of our product, we blend our teas on a weekly and ‘as and when-required’ basis. The same applies to our snacks as well. We cook in 'desi ghee’ (clarified butter) to enhance the taste of the snacks and also to get the best nutritional benefits.
We keep our workstation hygienically clean and instead of procuring the snacks from outside, we make everything personally in the home kitchen only and in small batches. It gives us immense satisfaction to provide healthy stuffs to our valuable customers.
